The development of essential business skills and competencies are delivered in the context of the Music Industry. In addition to an academic approach, candidates will have the opportunity of gaining valuable, hands-on industry experience by managing one of the College's 3 record labels. This will allow for real training in A&R, Event Management, Marketing and Record Companies. All candidates will be required to give a presentation (topic given in advance) before being interviewed.

 

HND Music Business

 

Fee; £4.995 per academic year

Music Industry Law; Music Publishing; Music Industry Marketing; Media in the Music Industry; Project Management; Managing in the Music Industry.

 

Year 1 and Year 2 Units

 

Progression

 

Successful completion of the HNC will give articulation to the HND and then potential progression to a Degree programme. Alternatively employment in many branches of the Music Industry.
